Senior DevOps Engineer Cloud & Platform

Location : Pune, India

About the Role :

You will work closely with engineering and product teams to build secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure, while contributing to a growing platform-first engineering culture.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world infrastructure problems and building systems that enable teams to move faster with confidence.

What Youll Do :

- Collaborate with developers to improve system reliability and deployment processes

- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications

- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the software delivery lifecycle

- Implement infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

- Enable faster development through reusable infrastructure patterns and tooling

- Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems

- Improve system observability and incident response processes

- Ensure infrastructure follows security best practices and compliance standards

- Support cost optimization efforts across cloud environments

Key Responsibilities :

- Work with AWS and GCP (mandatory) to build and manage cloud infrastructure

- Deploy and manage services using Kubernetes

- Design fault-tolerant and scalable architectures

- Support both cloud and hybrid/on-premise environments where needed

CI/CD & Automation :

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools

- Improve release processes with safer deployment strategies

Monitoring & Reliability :

- Define and track SLIs/SLOs for services

- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability

Security & Compliance :

- Work with teams to ensure compliance with data protection and security standards

- Support audit readiness and logging requirements

Developer Enablement :

- Build reusable tools, scripts, and templates

- Promote DevOps best practices across teams

What Were Looking For :

- Strong experience managing production systems at scale

Technical Skills :

Cloud Platforms :

Strong hands-on experience with :

- AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, SQS, etc.)

- GCP (mandatory) Compute Engine, GKE, IAM, Cloud Storage, etc.

Containers & Orchestration :

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker)

DevOps & Automation :

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or equivalent)

- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows

Infrastructure & Tools :

- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

Monitoring & Logging :

- Strong understanding of observability practices

Distributed Systems :

- Experience with systems like Kafka, Redis, or queue-based architectures

Good to Have :

- Exposure to security compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2)

- Experience with caching strategies and performance optimization

- Knowledge of blockchain or MLOps infrastructure
