Role Overview :

We are looking for a high-impact Machine Learning Lead who can operate as both an Individual Contributor and Team Leader.

This role involves building and scaling ML systems, leading a team from scratch, and delivering production-grade solutions in Fintech/RegTech domains.

Key Responsibilities :

Machine Learning & Deployment :

- Design, build, and deploy ML models across use cases like fraud detection, document intelligence, NLP, and predictive analytics.

- Optimize models for scalability, latency, and real-time performance.

- Drive experimentation using advanced ML techniques and frameworks.

MLOps & Production Systems :

- Own end-to-end ML lifecycle: data pipelines ? training ? deployment ? monitoring.

- Implement MLOps best practices (CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring).

- Ensure robust, scalable, production-ready systems.

Leadership & Team Building :

- Build and lead the ML team from ground up.

- Mentor team members on technical and career growth.

- Drive a culture of ownership, innovation, and accountability.

Innovation & Ownership :

- Identify and solve high-impact Fintech/RegTech problems using ML.

- Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into ML solutions.

- Stay updated with latest ML trends and technologies.

Cross-functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams.

- Align ML solutions with business goals and regulatory constraints.

Key Problem Areas :

- Fraud & AML detection (identity, document, biometrics).

- Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).

- Insurance & Claims Automation.

- Contract Analysis using NLP.

- User Risk Scoring using Graph/Anomaly Detection.

Must-Have Qualifications :

Experience :

- 7+ years in Machine Learning / AI.

- 2+ years leading or mentoring teams.

- Strictly from Fintech or RegTech domain.

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in Python & ML frameworks.

- Hands-on with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, etc.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

- Exposure to big data tools (Spark/Hadoop) is a plus.
