We are looking for an experienced Looker BI Developer with a strong technical background to design, develop, and scale business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Looker and LookML, advanced SQL skills, and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate data into meaningful insights and actionable dashboards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions using Looker and LookML

- Build and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure high performance and data accuracy

- Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data models aligned with business KPIs

- Perform query optimization and performance tuning across large datasets

- Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to define data requirements and metrics

- Work with data warehousing concepts and structured data models; exposure to Google BigQuery is a plus

- Use advanced MS Excel for data analysis, validation, and reporting when required

- Support end users with data insights, troubleshooting, and best practices

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to BI best practices and standards

Required Skills & Technical Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience with Looker and LookML

- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning

- Programming knowledge in Python or Java (scripting/automation)

- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (fact/dimension modeling, ETL, data pipelines)

- Experience or familiarity with Google BigQuery (preferred)

- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
