Zimetrics - Java AWS Developer

Role Overview :

As a Java AWS Developer at Zimetrics Technologies, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and resilient microservices on the AWS cloud platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our core analytics platform, enabling our clients to gain valuable insights from their data.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and resilient microservices using Java and Spring framework for our core analytics platform.

- Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, leveraging services like Amazon EC2, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB to ensure optimal performance and cost-efficiency.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different components of the system, ensuring data integrity and security.

- Implement automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, to ensure the quality and reliability of the code.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and monitoring of applications.

- Contribute to the design and implementation of AWS architecture, ensuring adherence to best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with operations teams to minimize downtime and ensure service availability.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and develop robust and scalable microservices using Java and Spring framework.

- Proven expertise in deploying and managing applications on AWS cloud platform, including services like Amazon EC2, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience in developing and consuming APIs.

- Experience with implementing automated testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines.

- Solid understanding of AWS architecture best practices and experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
