Role Summary :

ZestIOT is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a robust technical pedigree to lead high-stakes, large-scale B2B initiatives from Proof of Concept (POC) to global deployment. With over 8 years of IT project management experience, you will orchestrate complex ecosystems involving IoT, Cloud computing, and Web/Mobile architectures.


This role demands a techno-functional leader who can navigate both direct and matrix organizations, managing multiple concurrent sprints across Build, QA, and Release cycles.


You will be the primary custodian of project scope, quality, and delivery, ensuring zero P1/P2 defects and maintaining a strict deviation threshold of less than 10% on schedule and budget.


Whether interfacing with CXO-level stakeholders or driving third-party vendors, your mission is to deliver UI/UX rich, "magical" systems that transform business processes in demanding domains like Aviation.

Responsibilities :

- End-to-End Delivery Management: Lead 2 to 3 successful large-scale projects through the entire lifecycle, transitioning from initial POC to enterprise-grade deployment.

- Agile Orchestration: Oversee multiple cross-functional teams and sprints, governing the Build, QA, and Release processes to ensure high-quality, iterative delivery.

- Techno-Functional Leadership: Act as the technical bridge between stakeholders and engineering, demonstrating a deep understanding of Cloud, IoT, and Application Architecture.

- Stakeholder & Customer Governance: Manage high-profile external clients through direct visits and regular engagement, ensuring a 4.5/5 customer satisfaction rating.

- Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify, document, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to prevent scope creep and schedule slippage.

- Vendor & Third-Party Management: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with external vendors, driving them to meet strict delivery timelines and quality benchmarks.

- Project Planning & Tracking: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using advanced PM tools, ensuring less than 10% deviation from agreed scope and budget.

- Quality & Process Excellence: Implement a documentation-oriented approach to design, architecture, and testing, aiming for zero P1 and P2 defects in production releases.

- UI/UX & Persona Focus: Lead the delivery of UI/UX rich systems, ensuring development aligns with specific user personas and high-standard design requirements.

- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of internal processes across Design, Code, and QA to enhance organizational velocity and delivery quality.

Technical Requirements :

- Core Experience: 8+ years in IT Project Management, specifically handling large B2B projects with multi-stakeholder environments.

- Domain & Architecture: Solid understanding of IoT protocols, Cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS), and Web/Mobile App system architectures.

- PM Tooling: Expert-level proficiency in Scrum-based release management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Metric-Driven Delivery: Proven track record of managing projects within a <10% scope and schedule deviation threshold.

- Documentation Standards: Expert in documenting SRS, High-Level Design (HLD), User Stories, and Test Plans.

- Methodology: Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to apply the right process for the project's scale.

Preferred Skills :

- Aviation Domain: Prior experience delivering technical solutions within the Aviation industry is highly desirable.

- CXO Interaction: Experience presenting and managing expectations at the Executive/CXO level.

- Techno-Functional Fluency: Ability to "talk the language" of developers while translating it into business value for customers.

- UI/UX Sensibility: Understanding of user-centric design principles and delivering visually rich, intuitive applications.

- Matrix Management: Ability to influence and lead teams in a matrixed organizational structure without direct reporting lines.
