Job Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced EUC (End User Computing) Engineer to support, maintain, develop, and deploy technology across our organization's EUC environments. In this role, you'll act as a key technical escalation point for critical issues and contribute to strategic project work. Key Responsibilities :
- 2nd and 3rd Line Support : Provide expert-level 2nd and 3rd line technical support for complex EUC-related incidents and problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
- EUC Environment Management : Responsible for supporting, maintaining, developing, and deploying new and existing technology within the organization's EUC environments.
- Strategic Input & Improvement : Contribute actively to discussions on current issues and the future strategic direction for enterprise EUC services.
- Process Enhancement : Continuously seek to improve and develop the firm's EUC service and security management, patch management, and configuration processes.
- Technical Escalation : Act as a critical technical escalation point for unresolved EUC issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Project Contribution : Participate in various EUC-related project work, contributing technical expertise and hands-on support.
Requirements :
- Ideally, a minimum of 5 years' experience working as an EUC Engineer or in a similar capacity.
- Extensive experience with Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Strong proficiency in Active Directory and Group Policy management.
- Practical experience with PowerShell for automation and administration.
- Good understanding of cloud-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions, specifically AWS WorkSpaces and Azure AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop).
- Hands-on experience managing the full range of end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
