Job Summary:

QA engineer is responsible to understand the functional requirements and write test scenarios. Enough exposure to derive and execute manual test cases to ensure product quality. As a QA engineer, he/she will be designing and implementing tests, debug and make corrective actions. Plays a vital role in the companys product development process.

Identify, record, document and track bugs using Jira or any bug tracking tools. Work closely with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes like Agile, Scrum.

Responsibilities:

- Understand the product requirements, specifications and write detailed test cases.

- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test data preparation.

- Test Web application and Mobile apps - android & iOS Report the issues.

- Identify, record, document and track bugs using respective tools.

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes

- Experience in API testing

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

- Production bugs - analysis, reproduce and do RCA (Root Cause Analysis)

- Should be a individual contributor or representing the product

- Minimum knowledge in debugging or analysing the logs when any issues happen in QA environments.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of Manual and Automation testing experience

- Must have Experience in Web application and Mobile apps (Android & IOS) testing

- Hands on experience writing automation scripts and execution (preferably Java, Selenium)

- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases and preparing test data.

- Strong knowledge in software QA methodologies, tools and processes

- Good domain expertise, preferably in Fintech

- Experience in API testing

- Good at Test management tools to track bugs and manage the test cases & its execution.

- Must have been involved in different types of testing - Sanity, Smoke, Regression, UAT, Compatibility, Backend Testing, Mobile Testing etc.

- Good in interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving skills

- Should be an individual contributor or representing the product

- Experience in interacting with different stakeholders (Dev team & Product team).

- Exposure in preparing the status report of testing activities - Daily / Weekly/ bi-weekly/ monthly
