Job Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Teamcenter Implementation Consultant (Technical) with 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering Teamcenter implementation projects.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Teamcenter architecture, data modeling, BMIDE customization, and custom development, with proven experience implementing Teamcenter solutions from the ground up, including solution design, configuration, deployment, and go-live support.

This role is focused on implementation, technical solution design, and project delivery. Candidates whose experience is primarily in production support, application maintenance, or Teamcenter administration without significant implementation experience may not be suitable for this position.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and implement Teamcenter solutions based on business and engineering requirements.

- Define and manage Teamcenter data models, schemas, item types, datasets, revisions, relationships, BOM structures, and workflows.

- Customize Teamcenter using BMIDE (Business Modeler IDE).

- Develop and maintain Teamcenter extensions and customizations using ITK, SOA, and related technologies.

- Participate in solution architecture, technical design, deployment planning, and go-live activities.

- Perform data migration, validation, and system integration activities.

- Support Teamcenter upgrades, deployments, and environment migrations.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

- Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and adherence to Teamcenter best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on Teamcenter technical consulting experience.

- Proven experience in at least one end-to-end Teamcenter implementation project from solution design through production deployment.

- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, data model, and data structure.

- Extensive hands-on experience with BMIDE customization and configuration.

- Strong understanding of Teamcenter objects and structures, including :

1. Items and Item Revisions

2. Datasets

3. BOM Management

4. Relations

5. Workflows

6. Access Controls

- Experience with Teamcenter development using ITK, SOA, and related Teamcenter technologies.

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.

- Good understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and processes.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in multiple Teamcenter implementation or rollout projects.

- Experience with Teamcenter upgrades and deployment activities.

- Experience integrating Teamcenter with ERP, CAD, MES, or other enterprise systems.

- Familiarity with Oracle, SQL, and database concepts.

- Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aerospace, industrial, or product development environments.

Mandatory Requirements :

- Minimum 5 years of Teamcenter technical experience.

- Hands-on BMIDE customization experience.

- Experience implementing Teamcenter solutions from scratch or participating in full-cycle Teamcenter implementation projects.

- Strong Teamcenter data modeling and data structure expertise.

- Experience with ITK, SOA, or Teamcenter custom development.

- Ability to independently design and deliver technical solutions within Teamcenter environments.

Nice to Have :

- Active Workspace customization experience.

- Experience with Teamcenter deployment automation and DevOps practices.

- Exposure to cloud-hosted Teamcenter environments.

- Experience mentoring junior Teamcenter consultants.
