Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Associate Lead Consultant SAP VIM (OpenText Vendor Invoice Management) to drive the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP VIM solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Accounts Payable processes, invoice automation, SAP VIM configuration, and stakeholder management.

The role involves collaborating with business users, finance teams, and technical stakeholders to optimize invoice processing workflows, improve operational efficiency, and ensure successful delivery of SAP VIM initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to invoice processing and Accounts Payable operations.

- Configure, customize, and implement SAP OpenText VIM solutions aligned with business requirements.

- Design and optimize invoice automation workflows, exception handling, approvals, and validation processes.

- Support SAP VIM deployments, enhancements, upgrades, and integration activities within SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Drive process improvements across Accounts Payable and invoice management functions.

- Recommend best practices for invoice capture, validation, workflow routing, exception management, and reporting.

- Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency, compliance, and user experience.

- Develop and execute functional test scenarios and support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP VIM-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.

- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.

- Act as a trusted advisor to business and finance stakeholders.

- Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution walkthroughs.

- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans effectively to stakeholders.

- Deliver user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and process documentation.

- Prepare functional specifications, process flows, configuration documents, and training materials.

- Ensure adherence to SAP VIM implementation standards, governance practices, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8 to 10 years of SAP consulting experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).

- Experience implementing and supporting SAP VIM solutions in enterprise environments.

- Experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Understanding of SAP FI and integration points with SAP VIM.

- Exposure to SAP OCR and document capture solutions is preferred.

- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and user support.

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work independently on project deliverables.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong documentation and presentation abilities.

- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP VIM / OpenText VIM Certification.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or transformation programs.

- Exposure to Accounts Payable shared services environments.

- Knowledge of invoice capture and OCR technologies.
