Role : Project Manager (Offshore) Data Warehouse

Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Offshore) with 13+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in managing traditional Data Warehouse (DWH) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful execution of data warehousing initiatives while managing scope, timelines, quality, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end delivery of Data Warehouse projects from project initiation through deployment and post-production support.

- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and delivery milestones.

- Coordinate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and offshore/onshore teams to ensure successful project execution.

- Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

- Conduct project governance meetings, status reporting, steering committee updates, and executive communications.

- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, quality standards, and organizational processes.

- Drive Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies based on project requirements.

- Monitor project health through KPIs, delivery metrics, and resource utilization.

- Collaborate with technical teams on Data Warehouse design, ETL development, data integration, testing, and deployment activities.

- Support release planning, production deployments, and transition to support teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 13+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience as a Project Manager.

- Proven experience managing traditional Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) projects.

- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse architecture, ETL processes, data modeling, data integration, and reporting.

- Experience managing cross-functional distributed teams across offshore and onshore locations.

- Hands-on experience with project planning, estimation, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management.

- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and client-facing skills.

- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar.

- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), Healthcare, or Retail domains.

- PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or Agile certification.

- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an added advantage.

- Familiarity with SQL, ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, etc.), and BI/reporting platforms is desirable.
