About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Testing Engineer with strong expertise in testing Workday functional modules and integrations. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in designing and executing test strategies, validating end-to-end business processes, and ensuring quality delivery across Workday implementations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Teams to plan and execute QA activities for Workday applications.

- Design comprehensive test cases based on business process flows and requirements.

- Perform end-to-end functional testing across Workday modules and integrations.

- Develop, review, and execute test scenarios, scripts, and formal test plans.

- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and security testing for enhancements and incident-fix releases.

- Validate system functionality against business requirements and technical specifications.

- Collaborate with regional business leads and business testers to resolve defects identified during UAT.

- Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely issue resolution.

- Ensure timely execution of testing cycles and communicate test progress and results to stakeholders.

- Support audit teams by providing required information related to testing processes and documentation.

- Provide recommendations to improve application development, testing, release management, and deployment processes.

- Stay updated with emerging testing tools, automation capabilities, and best practices in Workday testing.

- Contribute innovative ideas to improve testing efficiency and quality assurance processes.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
