The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in designing, developing, testing, and supporting Workday integration solutions, with a particular focus on Time & Absence data migration initiatives.

This role requires close collaboration with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful migration of employee, time, and absence-related data from legacy systems into Workday.

The position operates in the 2nd shift and requires excellent communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integration solutions to support HCM, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Payroll, and third-party applications.

- Develop and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and Packaged Connectors.

- Build and support inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and external systems.

- Develop, maintain, and optimize Workday custom reports and Report Writer solutions to support integration and business reporting requirements.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical integration solutions.

- Support Time & Absence migration projects by analyzing legacy data, defining mapping rules, performing data transformations, and validating migrated data.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify data quality issues and ensure accurate migration of employee time records, leave balances, accruals, and absence-related information.

- Design and execute data conversion and migration strategies from legacy HR systems into Workday.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for integrations and migration activities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, data validation issues, and production support incidents.

- Support Workday releases, enhancements, and ongoing system improvements.

- Prepare technical design documents, mapping specifications, testing documents, and operational support guides.

- Ensure integration solutions comply with organizational security, compliance, and governance standards.

- Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to support project delivery timelines and business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 7+ years of overall experience in Workday technical consulting and integration development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio Integration development.

- Extensive experience with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and Packaged Connectors.

- Strong proficiency in Workday Report Writer and custom report development.

- Experience developing inbound and outbound integrations using Workday-delivered integration technologies.

- Good understanding of Workday HCM business processes and data structures.

- Functional knowledge of Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management modules.

- Experience supporting large-scale data migration and data conversion projects.

- Experience mapping, transforming, cleansing, validating, and loading data from legacy systems into Workday.

- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, Web Services (SOAP/REST), XPath, and integration troubleshooting.

- Ability to analyze business requirements and provide scalable technical solutions.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Exposure to Workday Payroll integrations and payroll-related data migration activities.

- Experience with Workday Studio advanced concepts and complex integration scenarios.

- Experience working on global Workday implementation projects.

- Workday Integration Certification is preferred.

- Knowledge of Workday Security and Business Process Frameworks.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
