We are seeking an experienced Workday Solution Architect with extensive expertise in designing, developing, and re-engineering enterprise Workday solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the overall Workday architecture, providing strategic guidance, and delivering scalable solutions across Workday HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Integrations, Reporting, and Security modules.

The Solution Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, technical teams, and project leadership to understand business objectives, translate requirements into architectural designs, and ensure successful implementation of Workday solutions. The role requires deep functional and technical knowledge of the Workday ecosystem, strong consulting skills, and the ability to lead complex transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-wide Workday solutions aligned with business goals and organizational strategies.

- Analyze current business processes and system landscapes and recommend optimized Workday solutions and transformation roadmaps.

- Design end-to-end Workday architecture covering HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Security, Reporting, and Integrations.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.

- Define solution architecture, integration architecture, security architecture, reporting strategy, and data governance frameworks.

- Provide architectural leadership during Workday implementation, migration, enhancement, and optimization projects.

- Review and approve functional and technical design documents to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

- Guide teams in configuring Workday modules, business processes, calculated fields, reports, security roles, and integrations.

- Design and oversee inbound and outbound integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Packaged Connectors, Web Services, and third-party integration platforms.

- Ensure seamless integration between Workday and external systems such as Payroll, ERP, Finance, Identity Management, Learning Management, and other enterprise applications.

- Lead data migration, data conversion, and data validation activities during implementation and transformation projects.

- Provide technical oversight for custom reports, dashboards, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.

- Evaluate Workday releases and new features and provide recommendations for adoption and continuous improvement.

- Identify risks, dependencies, and architectural challenges and provide mitigation strategies.

- Ensure compliance with security, governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.

- Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex functional, technical, and integration issues.

- Mentor consultants, developers, and project teams on Workday best practices, architecture standards, and solution design methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Extensive experience in Workday Solution Architecture and Enterprise Application Design.

- Strong expertise across multiple Workday modules, including HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management.

- Deep understanding of Workday Business Process Framework, Security Framework, Reporting, and Calculated Fields.

- Strong hands-on experience with Workday Integrations including Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Packaged Connectors, SOAP, REST APIs, XML, and XSLT.

- Experience designing complex global Workday implementations and transformation programs.

- Expertise in Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics, Dashboards, and Data Management concepts.

- Experience with enterprise integration architecture and cloud-based application ecosystems.

- Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Compensation, and Workforce Management processes.

- Experience leading solution design workshops and engaging with executive stakeholders.

- Ability to provide architectural governance and technical leadership across multiple projects.
