Job Description :

- Configure and support Workday Payroll including earnings, deductions, taxes, retro calculations, and payroll results.

- Manage payroll processing cycles (regular, off-cycle, corrections) and year-end activities.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (tax, PF, Client, PT, etc., where applicable).

- Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and perform root-cause analysis.

- Support payroll integrations with third-party vendors and financial systems.

Workday Benefits :

- Configure and maintain Workday Benefits plans (health, insurance, retirement, flexible benefits, allowances).

- Manage benefit eligibility rules, enrollment events, life events, and open enrollment.

- Support benefits vendor integrations (inbound/outbound files, EIBs, Studio, APIs).

- Ensure accurate benefits deductions and alignment with payroll.

Implementation & Support :

- Participate in end-to-end Workday implementations, enhancements, and post-production support.

- Gather and analyze business requirements; translate them into functional designs.

- Prepare configuration workbooks, functional design documents, and test scripts.

- Execute unit testing, system testing, UAT support, and regression testing.

- Support data migration activities using EIBs and Workday tools.

Stakeholder & Compliance Management :

- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams.

- Ensure adherence to country-specific payroll and benefits compliance.

- Support audits, controls, and documentation requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in Workday Payroll and/or Workday Benefits.

- Strong hands-on configuration experience in Workday Payroll and Benefits modules.

- Experience with Workday Integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors).

- Solid understanding of payroll processes, statutory compliance, and benefits administration.

- Experience supporting UAT, production support, and enhancements.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Workday Payroll Certification

- Workday Benefits Certification

Good to Have :

- Multi-country payroll exposure.

- Experience with Workday Financials or HCM Core.

- Knowledge of security roles and business process framework in Workday.
