We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Lead Consultant with 10-15 years of overall HRIS/ERP consulting experience and strong expertise in Workday HCM. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience leading end-to-end Workday implementations, enhancements, and support engagements across core HCM and talent management modules.

The role requires strong functional consulting capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive solution design, configuration, and deployment of Workday HCM solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Workday HCM Solution Design & Implementation :

- Lead end-to-end implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects for Workday HCM solutions.

- Conduct business requirement workshops and translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.

- Configure and optimize Workday modules based on organizational requirements and best practices.

- Drive solution design, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.

Functional Consulting & Configuration :

Configure and support Workday modules including :

a. Core HCM

b. Recruiting

c. Compensation

d. Advanced Compensation

e. Absence Management

f. Time Tracking

g. Payroll (where applicable)

h. Talent & Performance

i. Organization Management

- Advise stakeholders on Workday best practices, process optimization, and system capabilities.

- Collaborate with technical teams on Workday integrations with internal and third-party applications.

- Support inbound and outbound integrations using Workday integration frameworks.

- Design and develop reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and analytics to support business decision-making.

- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across Workday processes.

- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, HR teams, and technical teams.

- Lead client workshops, requirement gathering sessions, solution demonstrations, and user training activities.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and implementation teams.

- Support project planning, risk management, issue resolution, and governance activities.

- Troubleshoot configuration issues and provide production support when required.

- Recommend process improvements and system enhancements to maximize Workday adoption and efficiency.

- Stay current with Workday releases, new features, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10 to 15 years of overall experience in HR technology, ERP, or HCM consulting.

- Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM implementations and support engagements.

Expertise in :

a. Workday Core HCM

b. Workday Recruiting

c. Compensation / Advanced Compensation

d. Time Tracking

e. Talent Management

f. Payroll (preferred)

- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

- Strong understanding of HR business processes and employee lifecycle management.

- Experience with Workday reporting, dashboards, calculated fields, and business process frameworks.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.

- Experience leading teams and managing client-facing engagements.
