Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Workday HCM Core Architect to lead the design, architecture, implementation, and optimization of Workday HCM solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday Core HCM / Core HR, with a deep understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, integrations, security, reporting, and enterprise HR transformation.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, functional consultants, integration teams, and technical architects to deliver scalable and effective Workday solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the functional architecture and solution design for Workday HCM / Core HR implementations and transformation programs.

- Design and configure Workday Core HCM solutions including organizations, supervisory structures, staffing models, job profiles, positions, compensation structures, and business processes.

- Translate complex business requirements into scalable Workday HCM solutions and architecture.

- Lead end-to-end Workday HCM implementation, enhancement, and optimization initiatives.

- Provide architectural guidance across Workday HCM modules and ensure alignment with enterprise HR processes.

- Design and review Workday business processes, workflows, approvals, validations, and security configurations.

- Collaborate with Workday Integration, Reporting, Security, Finance, Extend, and Studio teams to ensure end-to-end solution integration.

- Work with HR and business stakeholders to identify process improvements and opportunities for Workday-driven HR transformation.

- Lead solution workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, design discussions, and architecture reviews.

- Define solution standards, best practices, governance frameworks, and reusable design patterns for Workday HCM.

- Review and guide configuration and technical designs delivered by functional and technical teams.

- Support data conversion, testing, deployment, release management, and post-production stabilization activities.

- Analyze Workday releases and new features and recommend improvements to existing HCM solutions.

- Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise security, compliance, data privacy, and governance standards.

- Mentor Workday consultants and provide technical/functional leadership to project teams.

- Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders and provide recommendations on Workday roadmap and future-state architecture.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 11 - 20 years of overall experience with significant hands-on experience in Workday.

- Strong expertise in Workday HCM / Core HR.

- Proven experience as a Workday HCM Architect, Lead, Principal Consultant, or equivalent senior role.

- Strong understanding of Workday HCM architecture, configuration, business processes, and solution design.

- Experience with Workday Core HCM, Staffing, Organizations, Job Profiles, Positions, Compensation, and related HR processes.

- Strong understanding of Workday security concepts and business process configuration.

- Experience working on end-to-end Workday implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and production support.

- Strong knowledge of Workday integration touchpoints and ability to work with integration architects/consultants.

- Understanding of Workday Reporting, Calculated Fields, EIB, Workday Studio, and integration concepts is preferred.

- Experience working with geographically distributed teams and multiple business stakeholders.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, consulting, and stakeholder-management skills.
