Job Description

Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Workday HCM professional with deep expertise in Advanced Compensation to join our growing team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will serve as the primary architect for our global compensation frameworks, translating complex business requirements into scalable, automated Workday solutions. You will collaborate closely with HR leadership, global payroll teams, and IT stakeholders to ensure that compensation cycles, merit increases, and bonus structures are executed with precision.

By optimizing our compensation architecture, you will directly influence our ability to attract and retain top-tier talent while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance across our international operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and configure complex Advanced Compensation plans, including merit, bonus, and stock grants, to support global business objectives and ensure seamless year-end processing.

- Partner with HR Business Partners and Total Rewards teams to translate compensation strategies into functional Workday configurations that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to compensation eligibility rules, plan structures, and calculation logic to maintain high levels of data accuracy and system performance.

- Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including UAT and regression testing, to validate system updates and ensure that all compensation workflows align with global policy requirements.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional design specifications and standard operating procedures, to facilitate knowledge sharing and system governance across the organization.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrate deep functional proficiency in Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end compensation cycles for large-scale organizations.

- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex compensation data and translate business needs into technical configurations that drive strategic decision-making.

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, translating technical system constraints into clear, actionable insights for non-technical business leaders.

- Possess a proactive problem-solving mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in Workday system administration and compensation design.
