Responsibility :

The Workday Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting workflows, reporting, integrations, and functional enhancements across the Workday HCM platform and the VNDLY Vendor Management System (VMS). This role ensures accurate data flow, system reliability, and workforce analytics while partnering with HR, Procurement, Finance, MSPs, and IT teams.

Job Description :

1. VNDLY Platform Development & Support :

- Configure VNDLY modules including Contingent Workforce (CW), SOW, Requisitions, Work Orders, Supplier Management, Compliance, Time & Expense, and Invoicing.

- Set up workflows, approval routing, business rules, notifications, and automation across the platform.

- Manage end-to-end worker lifecycle processes from requisition creation through offboarding.

- Build and maintain VNDLY reports and dashboards for workforce analytics, supplier performance, compliance, and audit needs.

- Troubleshoot configuration and data issues and coordinate with VNDLY vendor support.

2. Workday Development & Configuration

- Configure Workday modules including HCM Core, Staffing, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and Contingent Worker.

- Configure business processes, condition rules, security roles, and calculated fields.

- Build and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and scheduled data extracts.

- Support tenant releases, regression testing, defect resolution, and process optimization.

- Knowledge of Workday integrations (EIBs, APIs, Studio-based integrations) is a plus.

3. VNDLYWorkday Data Flow & Stakeholder Collaboration

- Support data synchronization between VNDLY and Workday for workers, assignments, time, expense, and invoices.

- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems for downstream reporting and compliance.

- Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Finance, MSP partners, and IT teams.

- Create documentation, SOPs, and provide knowledge transfer to business users.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM platform configuration and development.

- Experience with VNDLY or similar Vendor Management Systems (VMS)

- Proficiency in configuring Workday modules: HCM Core, Staffing, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and Contingent Worker.

- Strong understanding of Workday business process framework, security roles, and condition rules.

- Ability to build Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.

- Experience with Workday integrations EIBs, REST/SOAP APIs, or Workday Studio is a plus.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, IT, and MSP partners.
