Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Workday Data Conversion Consultant to support Workday implementation projects across HCM, Financials, or Student modules.

The consultant will be responsible for data conversion activities, legacy data mapping, data validation, quality analysis, documentation, client communication, and delivery of assigned project workstreams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and deliver Workday data conversion activities across implementation projects.

- Work on data conversion for HCM, Financials, or Student implementations through at least two project phases.

- Convert and load legacy data into Workday using iLoads, EIBs, Customer Central, and other Workday loading tools.

- Perform data validation and reconciliation after loading data into Workday.

- Support clients with legacy data mapping, transformation, cleansing, and data-quality analysis.

- Identify data issues and coordinate with project/client teams for resolution.

- Prepare conversion documentation, work plans, reports, and project status updates.

- Collaborate with project leadership and client stakeholders on conversion-related activities.

- Support process improvements and contribute to enhancements in data conversion methodologies.

- Participate in knowledge sharing, mentoring, and training of junior team members.

- Utilize Excel, Access, SQL, ETL tools, XML/XSLT, VBA, and Web Services for data conversion and analysis.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Workday Data Conversion experience.

- Strong experience with iLoads, EIBs, Customer Central, or other Workday data conversion tools.

- Experience in at least one or more Workday HCM, Financials, or Student implementations.

- Strong knowledge of data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and data quality.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.

- Experience with SQL, SQL Server/Oracle, databases, and entity relationships.

- Experience with ETL tools, Web Services, XML/XSLT, and VBA.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Current Workday certification.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, MIS, or a related field.

- Experience with tools such as Notepad++, UltraEdit, Oxygen XML, AQT, Beyond Compare, ASAP Utilities, or similar data/technical utilities.

- Experience mentoring or training junior consultants.

- Consulting or client-facing implementation experience.
