Job Title : Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant

About the Role :

We seek a seasoned Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to design, configure, and maintain financial planning models across Opex, Revenue, COGS, and Workforce Planning. The consultant will lead requirementgathering workshops, translate business needs into Adaptive Planning solutions, and support endtoend implementation cycles, ensuring data integrity and successful user adoption.

Key Responsibilities :

Model Configuration & Development :

- Configure and maintain Adaptive Planning models for assigned planning areas.

- Build and manage planning sheets, dimensions, levels, versions, and account structures.

- Design model configurations for Opex, Revenue, COGS, and Workforce Planning.

- Manage hierarchies, dimensions, versioning, and overall model structure.

- Execute L3 model configuration and advanced modelbuilding tasks.

- Support model cloning and phasealigned planning activities.

Requirement Gathering & Implementation :

- Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to capture detailed requirements.

- Guide the full implementation lifecycle from discovery and design through deployment.

- Translate financial planning and business requirements into Adaptive Planning configurations.

- Participate in at least one complete endtoend Adaptive Planning implementation.

Data Integration & Validation :

- Validate data loads and ensure accurate sourcetotarget mapping.

- Work with data sources such as Azure, SAP BPC, and Excel.

- Perform data reconciliation and troubleshoot loading or mapping issues.

- Maintain data accuracy across planning models and reporting structures.

Testing & Support :

- Support sandbox testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and business signoffs.

- Validate model configurations and resolve functional issues.

- Maintain proper versioning, cloning, and comprehensive documentation.

- Coordinate with business and technical teams to ensure successful deployment.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 to 9 years of handson experience with Workday Adaptive Planning.

- Proven experience configuring Adaptive Planning models in at least one area: Opex, Revenue, COGS, or Workforce Planning.

- Deep knowledge of Sheets, Dimensions, Levels, Versions, and account structures.

- Strong understanding of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning concepts.

- Demonstrated ability to perform L3 model configuration and advanced model building.

- Participation in at least one full endtoend Adaptive Planning implementation.

- Proficiency with Adaptive Modeling, Matrix Reports, and OfficeConnect.

- Experience with data validation and integrations using Azure, SAP BPC, or Excel.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with multiple planning areas (Opex, Revenue, COGS, Workforce Planning).

- Familiarity with additional data integration tools or platforms beyond Azure and SAP BPC.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
