Position Summary :

We are looking for a Workato expert with strong hands-on experience in building and managing integration workflows (recipes), connectors, and automation pipelines. The ideal candidate will have solid SQL skills for data querying and validation, with Snowflake and dbt experience considered a strong plus. Familiarity with cloud storage concepts (e.g., S3, Blob Storage, or similar) is also expected.

The role involves working closely with data engineering, integration, and business teams to design reliable, scalable automation and integration solutions across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain integration workflows (recipes) in Workato, connecting enterprise applications and data systems.

- Troubleshoot and optimize existing Workato recipes for performance, reliability, and error handling.

- Write and validate SQL queries to support data integration, transformation, and reconciliation tasks.

- Work with Snowflake and dbt pipelines where integration touches the data warehouse layer.

- Understand and work with cloud storage systems (e.g., S3, Azure Blob, GCS) for file-based integration and data movement.

- Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to translate integration requirements into working Workato solutions.

- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for integration jobs to ensure operational reliability.

- Document integration designs, connector configurations, and recipe logic for maintainability.

- Participate in code/recipe reviews and contribute to integration best practices and reusable patterns.

Experience and Required Skill Set :

- 3 - 6 years of experience in integration/automation engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in Workato (must-have).

- Solid SQL skills for querying, validation, and troubleshooting data flows.

- Snowflake and dbt (Core or Cloud) experience is a plus.

- Working awareness of cloud storage concepts and services (S3, Blob Storage, or equivalent).

- Understanding of API-based integrations (REST/SOAP), webhooks, and event-driven automation.

- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
