Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned WMS Functional Consultant to spearhead complex supply chain transformations for our operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between intricate business requirements and robust technical solutions, ensuring our warehouse operations are optimized for scale and efficiency.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including logistics managers, IT leadership, and external vendors, to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of ERP and WMS implementations. By streamlining inventory management and order fulfillment processes, you will directly influence our operational throughput, reduce overhead costs, and enhance the overall customer experience in a fast-paced, high-growth market.

Key Responsibilities :

- Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications to ensure the WMS architecture aligns with long-term organizational goals.

- Lead end-to-end ERP and WMS implementation projects, managing the entire SDLC from initial discovery and business process mapping to final deployment.

- Configure and optimize SAP WMS and Manhattan WMS modules to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse throughput for regional distribution centers.

- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with end-users to validate system performance and ensure seamless adoption across warehouse teams.

- Partner with logistics and supply chain leadership to identify process bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions that drive operational excellence.

- Provide expert-level functional support and troubleshooting for Order Management Systems and SAP SCM modules to minimize downtime and maintain supply chain continuity.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in configuring and deploying WMS and SAP SCM solutions, with a deep understanding of warehouse operations and logistics workflows.

- Proven ability to lead business process mapping initiatives, translating high-level business needs into actionable technical documentation.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage the full SDLC, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the management level.

- High degree of adaptability to on-site work environments, with the cultural intelligence to navigate and succeed in the Nigerian business landscape.

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, complemented by 5 - 15 years of progressive experience in functional consulting roles.
