Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and passionate WLAN Developer to join our client's engineering team in Chennai or Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and debugging embedded software for WLAN devices. You will collaborate closely with hardware engineers, system architects, and other software developers to deliver high-quality, robust, and performant WLAN solutions. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the connectivity and user experience of a wide range of products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement embedded software for WLAN functionality on Linux-based platforms.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C code for embedded systems.

- Debug and troubleshoot software issues related to WLAN connectivity, performance, and security.

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware platforms.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software development processes.

- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of WLAN software.

- Optimize WLAN software for performance and power consumption.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest WLAN standards and technologies.

Required Skillset :

- Proven ability to develop and debug embedded software in C.

- Demonstrated expertise in WLAN technologies and protocols (e.g., 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax).

- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and embedded Linux development.

- Experience with embedded system development tools and techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
