Windows MVFS Developer - JD

We are looking for a senior Windows File System/Kernel Developer with solid experience developing file systems and modules in a Windows environment. The position involves new development, as well as maintenance of our Multi Version File System. The ideal candidate has hands-on development experience with Windows internals and a passion for systems level development. The position involves a significant level of technical experience. Projects may include design and development of new features, support of new OS versions, performance and scalability enhancements, and bug fixes.

Applicant must hold a BS/BA Computer Science or equivalent, MS preferred. Applicants should possess outstanding problem-solving capabilities. Applicant should have significant experience - 14 years or more years.

Requirements :

- Significant experience with Windows kernel development

- Experience MiniFilter Driver development using Legacy Model

- Understand Windows File System Architecture

- Demonstrated ability to perform Kernel level debugging (WinDbg)

- Working knowledge of x86_64 instruction set

- Knowledge of complex distributed systems

- Demonstrated ability to debug complex issues in a distributed systems environment

- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols in a cross-platform environment (SMB, NFS, RPC, UDP, TCP/IP)

- Demonstrated ability to debug issues at the protocol level

- Demonstrated ability to administer Windows machines in a networked environment

- Significant experience Programming in C

In addition, the following is a plus :

- Knowledge of C++

- Working knowledge of one or more scripting languages such as PERL, and PowerShell

- Experience solving complex performance problems in distributed systems

- Exposure to Windows security

- Exposure to Azure and/or cloud
