Role Overview :

As a Windchill Migration Specialist, you will lead the technical execution of complex PLM migration projects, ensuring the secure and efficient transfer of critical product data between legacy systems and modern Windchill environments. We will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams and client stakeholders to architect migration strategies that minimize downtime and maintain data integrity. Your work will directly influence the operational efficiency of our clients, enabling them to leverage advanced PLM capabilities to accelerate their time-to-market and improve collaborative engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute comprehensive migration strategies for Windchill PDMLink to ensure seamless data transition and system compatibility.

- Develop custom migration scripts and utilities using Java and Windchill APIs to automate data transformation and validation processes.

- Manage end-to-end Windchill infrastructure migrations, including server upgrades, database transitions, and environment configuration.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data mapping requirements and resolve complex technical bottlenecks during the migration lifecycle.

- Perform rigorous testing and validation of migrated data to ensure compliance with engineering standards and business requirements.

- Provide technical guidance on Windchill customization and integration to optimize system performance post-migration.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale Windchill PDMLink migrations and complex infrastructure transitions.

- Strong proficiency in Java programming and the application of Windchill APIs for system customization and integration.

- Ability to configure and troubleshoot Windchill environments, ensuring high availability and system stability.

- Proven track record of translating complex business requirements into technical migration roadmaps.

- Exceptional communication skills to effectively manage client expectations and coordinate with global technical teams.

- Capability to work independently in a remote or distributed environment while maintaining high standards of project delivery.

- A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, supported by 3 - 26 years of relevant industry experience.
