Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wi-Fi Systems Validation Architect to lead the design, planning, and execution of validation strategies for next-generation Wi-Fi solutions, including Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7. This is a senior-level, hands-on role requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, firmware developers, QA, and product managers to ensure our Wi-Fi products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and interoperability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and lead comprehensive system validation strategies for Wi-Fi access points, clients, and mesh networks.
- Develop real-world use case simulation environments to validate performance under various network conditions, interference scenarios, and traffic loads.
- Analyze and debug complex system-level issues across Wi-Fi layers (PHY, MAC, etc.), ensuring accurate root cause identification and resolution.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to address design and performance gaps through actionable feedback.
- Drive performance benchmarking, stress testing, and reliability analysis of Wi-Fi products.
- Lead the development and optimization of test automation frameworks using tools such as Python or Robot Framework.
- Evaluate and ensure readiness for Wi-Fi Alliance certifications and IEEE 802.11 standards compliance.
- Mentor and guide validation engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications :
- Hands-on experience in Wi-Fi system validation, development, and debugging.
- Minimum 5 years in a Systems Architect or Validation Architect role.
- Proven experience in defining, developing, and executing large-scale Wi-Fi validation strategies.
- Deep understanding of Wi-Fi technologies (Wi-Fi 5/6/6E/7) and protocols under IEEE 802.11 standards.
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi Alliance certification processes.
Technical Expertise :
- In-depth experience with protocol analyzers and performance tools like Omnipeek, Wireshark, IxChariot.
- Expertise in using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network simulators.
- Strong skills in debugging and analyzing Wi-Fi system behaviors across layers.
- Experience with Wi-Fi chipsets, routers, access points, and client device architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting and test automation frameworks (e.g., Python, Robot Framework).
