Role Overview :

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong background in localization, translation technologies, and agile project delivery. You will manage end-to-end delivery of multilingual content, AI data projects, or language-related services, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

This role demands a tech-savvy, detail-oriented professional with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional global teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Lifecycle Ownership :

- Lead the complete lifecycle of localization or AI data projects, including planning, scoping, execution, risk management, delivery, and closure.

Client & Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the primary point of contact for client communication. Translate customer needs into actionable project plans.

Technology & Tools :

- Use project management and localization tools such as Smartling, XTM, Memsource, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar. Leverage CAT tools, TMS systems, and AI-driven platforms as required.

Quality & Process Optimization :

- Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous QA and proactive process improvements. Utilize data and automation to improve workflows and productivity.

Team Coordination :

- Lead virtual, multicultural teams including linguists, localization engineers, QA, and external vendors. Align team efforts with client goals and internal KPIs.

Financial Ownership :

- Manage project budgets, cost control, invoicing, and margin analysis. Ensure profitable project delivery.

Reporting :

- Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and financial tracking to stakeholders via dashboards and project reports.

Required Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Linguistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally in the localization, translation, or AI data space.

- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, multi-language, multi-vendor projects.

- Familiarity with agile, scrum, or hybrid delivery models.

- Knowledge of the localization lifecycle, including content ingestion, translation, QA, delivery, and TMS configurations.

Preferred Skills :

- Proficiency in translation/localization tools (e.g., Smartling, XTM, Trados, Memsource).

- Understanding of AI/ML data workflows, such as data annotation, collection, or evaluation.

- Experience with automated workflows, APIs, or CMS integrations.

- Familiarity with NLP technologies, data labeling, and content moderation is a strong plus.

- Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.

- Proven experience in financial forecasting and budget management.
