Role Overview :

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to design and develop visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites.

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, product teams, and developers to understand business requirements and translate ideas into effective web designs that balance aesthetics, usability, and performance.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about modern web design, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys working across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities :

Web Design & Development :

- Design and develop responsive websites using HTML and CSS, ensuring compatibility across modern browsers and devices.

- Create engaging layouts, UI elements, and visual components that align with project objectives and branding guidelines.

- Ensure high standards of usability, accessibility, and visual consistency across all web pages.

Requirement Understanding & Collaboration :

- Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand design requirements, goals, and target audiences.

- Translate business and functional requirements into intuitive design solutions.

- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design concepts.

Wireframes & Prototyping :

- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas, user flows, and interactions.

- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and iterate designs accordingly.

Performance & Optimization :

- Optimize websites for performance, speed, and responsiveness.

- Follow basic SEO best practices while designing page structures and layouts.

- Ensure clean, well-structured, and maintainable front-end code.

Branding & Visual Consistency :

- Maintain consistency in branding, typography, color schemes, and layout standards across projects.

- Support graphic design requirements such as banners, icons, creatives, and marketing assets when needed.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and best practices.

- Suggest design improvements to enhance user experience and engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 13 years of experience as a Web Designer or in a similar role.

- Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS.

- Good understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

- Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.

- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.

- Familiarity with website performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.

- Ability to work collaboratively with developers and cross-functional teams.

- Strong attention to detail and visual aesthetics.

- Good communication skills and ability to understand client requirements.

Nice to Have / Preferred Skills :

- Basic knowledge of JavaScript or front-end frameworks.

- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress or similar).

- Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG basics).

- Experience designing for multiple devices and screen sizes.

- Graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator.
