Responsibilities :
- Build and optimize ML systems for budget allocation, tROAS forecasting, SKU selection, and campaign decisioning using deep neural networks, reinforcement learning, and large-scale modeling.
- Lead next-generation creative optimization using deep learning and GenAI to drive improvements in advertiser ROI.
- Architect robust, scalable ML solutions designed for reuse, extensibility, and long-term impact across multiple ad workflows.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales to translate business problems into ML-powered automated systems.
- Apply best practices in RL, bandits, forecasting, and optimization to advance Wayfair's AdTech capabilities.
- Partner with ML Platform and AdTech Engineering teams to deploy and scale production-grade ML models.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience building large-scale ML systems.
- 4+ years in a technical leadership or ML architecture role.
- Strong expertise in deep learning, reinforcement learning, multi-armed bandits, or large-scale optimization.
- Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- A strategic, product-oriented mindset and the ability to influence direction through data and analysis.
Nice to Have :
- Experience with Spark, Hive, Hadoop, or Airflow.
- Exposure to GCP or other cloud platforms.
- Background in advertising, recommender systems, or marketplace optimization.
- Experience building agentic or workflow-driven AI systems.
