Who will you be working with ?
You will work closely with ServiceNow developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to design and optimize self-service portals and service catalogs.
This role collaborates with IT, HR, and business teams to ensure seamless user experience and alignment with enterprise standards.
How will you make a difference ?
As a User Experience Specialist ServiceNow, you will combine user-centered design principles with technical knowledge of ServiceNow to deliver intuitive, engaging, and efficient digital experiences for employees.
You will lead portal design, usability testing, and iterative improvements to enhance self-service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions to understand pain points and validate design decisions.
- Create and enhance self-service portals ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Redesign and structure service catalogs to improve discoverability and efficiency.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools.
- Work closely with ServiceNow developers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive designs.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices for enterprise UX.
- Monitor portal performance and user satisfaction, implementing iterative improvements based on analytics and feedback.
What do we want to know about you? :
Required :
- Bachelors degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in UX design with a focus on enterprise platforms.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Self-Service Portal and Service Catalog configuration.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow widgets, theming, and portal configuration.
- Proficiency in design tools and basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred :
- Masters degree in UX Design or related discipline.
- Certifications in ServiceNow or UX design.
- Experience with accessibility compliance and enterprise UX best practices.
What will your typical day look like?
Design and optimize ServiceNow portals and catalogs, conduct usability testing, collaborate with developers and stakeholders, and monitor performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
Work Environment :
Work is predominately performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.
Ability to be in a seated position for long periods of time.
