Position Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Lead Digital UX/UI Designer to join our product design team. You will take ownership of shaping the user experience for several of our digital products, ensuring that every interaction is intuitive, engaging, and aligned with both user needs and business goals. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to define the vision for our products and transform them into beautifully designed, user-centric experiences.

You will have the opportunity to influence product roadmaps and contribute to shaping the direction of new features and products, ensuring that our designs meet form and functional requirements. You will be responsible for setting the design direction, maintaining design standards, and ensuring the highest quality of design output. Ultimately, you will play a pivotal role in creating products that not only solve real user problems but also deliver exceptional user experiences that drive engagement and product success.

Minimum Experience :

- 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with at least 2 years in a senior design role

- Proven track record of leading successful digital product designs for web, mobile, or enterprise platforms

- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital projects, from concept to final implementation

- Experience in designing for a variety of industries (e.g., eCommerce, SaaS, enterprise software, or consumer apps) is a bonus

Minimum Education :

- Bachelor's degree in design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), Interaction Design, or a related field

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into cohesive, user-centric designs that are not only creative but also feasible and scalable.

- Advocate for user-centered design principles, ensuring a focus on accessibility, usability, and performance

- Lead user research, and work with UT teams to gather feedback to inform design decisions and improve the user experience

- Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and UI assets for responsive web applications

- Drive the design direction for digital experiences, ensuring high-quality, consistency and innovation, reviewing and refining designs as needed

- Own the end-to-end design process from user research and wireframes to high-fidelity UI and final implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs

- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, setting clear priorities and deadlines

- Conduct regular design reviews with the team and other stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on designs

- Help define and promote best practices for design processes, including documentation, version control, and hand-off procedures

- Create and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across products

- Stay current on industry trends, emerging design tools, and technologies, integrating them into your workflow when appropriate

- Coordinate with developers to ensure seamless integration and adherence to design specifications

- Provide design leadership in product roadmap discussions, offering insights into design feasibility and user needs

- Lead and mentor other designers, providing direction, feedback, and growth opportunities

- Contribute to building and evolving the company's design culture and process

Required Skills and Qualifications :

UX/UI Design :

- In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing, and user research methodologies

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of the interaction between design, usability, and technology

Leadership :

- Proven ability to mentor a design team, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.

Technical :

- Comprehensive understanding of responsive design, mobile-first principles, and cross-browser compatibility

- Expertise creating and maintaining design systems and pattern libraries

- Understanding of how design translates to code (HTML/CSS front-end basics)

- Expertise in core design tools - Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite

- Familiarity with tools like Zeplin, Jira, and Confluence for collaboration and project tracking

- Ability to work in an Agile environment

Communication and Collaboration :

- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.

- Extensive experience collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
