INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities) :
- Provide functional expertise for D365 SCM modules including :
1. Procurement & Sourcing
2. Sales & Distribution
3. Inventory & Warehouse Management
4. Production Control
5. Master Planning
- Address business process gaps and recommend bestpractice solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues related to process flows such as :
1. QuotetoCash steps (e.g., order creation, validation, shipment confirmation)
2. SCM Q2C workflows & credit availability checks
- Engage with business users to capture detailed functional requirements.
- Validate requirements against system capabilities and identify configuration or customization needs.
- Draft Functional Design Documents (FDD) and support integration design discussions.
- Perform configuration changes in SCM modules aligned with target operating models.
- Participating in CRP (Conference Room Pilot)
- Prepare test scripts, support system testing/UAT, and validate endtoend flows
- Provide L2/L3 functional support for SCM issues.
- Perform impact analysis for both hotfixes and new releases.
- Monitor batch jobs, warehouse processes, and supply chain exceptions
WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications) :
Required Skills / Qualifications / Certifications / Tech Stack (List all) :
Essential :
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in D365 Supply Chain Management (or AX 2012).
- Strong functional knowledge in at least two SCM modules (Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, Production, Master Planning).
- Experience participating in full cycle D365 implementations.
- Ability to interpret complex SCM process flows (e.g., allocation, shipment scheduling, ATP/CTP logic).
- Expertise in writing FDDs, test scenarios, and coordinating UAT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferable :
- Knowledge of integrations using DMF, OData, REST APIs.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (Finance, Manufacturing, Commerce).
- Power Platform awareness (Power BI, Power Automate) for reporting and automation.
- Exposure to SCM reporting needs mapped to target operating models.
Education :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain, or relevant discipline.
