Role Summary :

VP Engineering is a senior leadership role responsible for driving technology delivery, engineering governance, stakeholder alignment, and client confidence across large-scale digital and ecommerce programs. The role should combine deep technical credibility with strong leadership presence, structured communication, and the ability to independently represent the engineering organization in client and internal governance forums.

Experience and Education :

- Overall experience : 16-20 years.

- Education : BTech or MCA from reputed College.

Technical Skills :

- Ecommerce platform experience should include one or more of the following : Bespoke commerce, Magento, SFCC, or SAP Hybris.

- Must be well versed with the latest AI tools and engineering patterns, including LLM and RAG-based solutions.

- Must have independently led one or more ecommerce projects end to end.

- Strong hands-on technical experience with MySQL and Node.js.

- Strong technical depth across architecture, solutioning, production support, and engineering delivery.

Leadership Skills :

- Ability to lead client governance meetings independently and manage follow-ups professionally.

- Strong stakeholder management across HR, Finance, Delivery, and client teams.

- Ability to present ideas to senior stakeholders and clients in a structured and confident manner.

- Strong leadership presence with the ability to drive alignment, decisions, and accountability across cross-functional teams.

Core Responsibilities :

- Lead engineering delivery for strategic digital and ecommerce programs with full ownership of quality, timelines, and technical direction.

- Act as the senior technical leader in governance discussions with clients and internal leadership teams.

- Drive collaboration across HR, Finance, Delivery, and client stakeholders to ensure execution discipline and clear ownership.

- Shape architecture and engineering direction, including adoption of modern AI capabilities where relevant to business and delivery goals.

- Build stakeholder confidence through clear communication, structured updates, and professional follow-through.
