VIDA - DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and driven DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at VIDA Digital Identity.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our hybrid cloud infrastructure using AWS and VMware.

This position requires extensive hands-on expertise in system administration, cloud-native platforms, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

Responsibilities :

- Design, deployment, and management of our hybrid cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance.

- Manage and enhance our Kubernetes infrastructure, including architecture planning, tool selection, and deployment strategies.

- Develop and refine automation processes and tools (using Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) to optimize workflows and infrastructure efficiency.

- Serve as a technical mentor, providing guidance to team members on best practices, complex issues, and cutting-edge technologies.

- Implement robust infrastructure-as-code strategies to maintain consistency, version control, and efficient deployment processes.

- Proactively monitor infrastructure performance, addressing potential issues promptly to maintain uptime and reliability.

- Collaborate closely with development, security, and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of infrastructure with organizational goals.

- Stay abreast of evolving industry trends and best practices, making recommendations to continuously improve our infrastructure.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in system administration, DevOps, and infrastructure engineering, focusing on hybrid cloud environments.

- Expert proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration, including setting up and managing clusters and utilizing containerization tools such as Docker.

- Proven expertise in automation technologies, including Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, and an automation-first approach.

- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, networking principles, and security protocols.

- Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines, tools, and methodologies like ArgoCD, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines .

- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment while contributing positively within a team setting.
