Position Title : Vice President Program Management

Location : Gurugram

Role Overview :

We are looking for a seasoned and highly strategic VP Program Management to lead large-scale telecom/networking technology programs across global customers and internal engineering organizations. The ideal candidate should come from leading telecom/networking product companies. The role demands strong expertise in managing complex cross-functional programs involving telecom infrastructure, networking products, wireless technologies, embedded systems, software platforms, customer delivery, and global stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end execution of large and complex telecom/networking programs across engineering, product, operations, deployment, and customer delivery teams.

- Drive strategic program planning, execution governance, budgeting, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and milestone tracking.

- Manage global customer engagements and executive stakeholder communication for critical programs.

- Collaborate closely with product management, hardware engineering, software engineering, R&D, QA, supply chain, deployment, and support teams.

- Establish scalable program management frameworks, governance mechanisms, and execution excellence processes.

- Drive multi-site and geographically distributed teams across India and global locations.

- Ensure successful delivery of programs within timelines, quality standards, and commercial objectives.

- Lead customer escalations, technical coordination, and cross-functional issue resolution.

- Build and mentor a high-performing program management organization.

- Drive operational excellence, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Interface with leadership teams on business strategy, execution health, and organizational priorities.

- Support pre-sales, solution discussions, customer roadmap alignment, and strategic business initiatives where required.

Key Requirements :

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering from a reputed institute/university.

- MBA from a premier institute will be an added advantage.

- 15 to 22+ years of experience in telecom, networking, wireless, or communication technology domains.

- Strong experience managing large-scale telecom/networking product development or deployment programs.

- Deep understanding of telecom/networking technologies such as :

1. 4G/5G

2. RAN

3. Core Networks

4. IP Networking

5. Wireless Infrastructure

6. Optical Networks

7. Embedded Systems

8. Cloud/Virtualized Telecom Platforms

9. OSS/BSS ecosystems

- Strong expertise in program governance, execution management, budgeting, and stakeholder management.

- Experience handling global customers, strategic accounts, and executive leadership interactions.

- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid execution models, and large-scale engineering lifecycle management.

- PMP/Program Management certifications will be preferred.
