Role Overview :

As the Vice President - AI Engineer, you will lead a team of talented AI engineers in Pune, driving the development and implementation of innovative AI solutions.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define product roadmaps, architect scalable AI systems, and ensure the successful delivery of high-impact AI applications.

This role directly impacts the company's ability to deliver state-of-the-art AI solutions to our clients, enhancing their competitive advantage and driving significant business value.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

- Define and execute the AI engineering roadmap, aligning with the company's strategic goals and market opportunities.

- Architect and design scalable, robust, and secure AI systems using AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of machine learning models and AI applications.

- Collaborate with data scientists to translate research findings into production-ready AI solutions.

- Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of AI systems through rigorous testing and monitoring.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and cloud computing, and evaluate their potential application to our business.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and opportunities.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing AI engineering teams.

- Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable AI solutions using Python and related machine learning libraries.

- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques.

- Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS, including services such as SageMaker, EC2, and S3.

- Strong knowledge of Generative AI models and their applications.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Possess a Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

- Adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Minimum of 14-20 years of experience in AI engineering and software development.
