Job Description

Role : Senior UI/UX Architect :

Job Summary :

We are looking for a seasoned UI/UX Architect who can lead experience design from discovery through delivery and take strong ownership of product experience outcomes. The role combines deep experience-design expertise, market and competitive research, and product-owner capabilities to translate business, customer, and marketing inputs into clear user journeys, interaction models, UI specifications, and measurable product outcomes. The ideal candidate will work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and client stakeholders to ensure the UI/UX work is delivered with high quality, strong product understanding, and clear accountability in outcome-based engagements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end Experience Design : Own the overall user experience across discovery, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, validation, and design handoff for complex digital products.

- Define experience strategy : Translate product vision, business goals, user needs, and domain context into experience principles, user journeys, task flows, and scalable interaction patterns.

- Conduct market and competitive research : Research competing products, industry benchmarks, emerging experience patterns, and customer expectations to identify gaps, differentiation opportunities, and best practices.

- Convert market and marketing inputs into UI specifications : Work with marketing, product, sales, domain experts, and customer-facing teams to synthesize market insights and convert them into actionable UI/UX requirements, interface specifications, user flows, and design priorities.

- Own UI/UX outcomes as a Product Owner : Take product-owner responsibility for the UI/UX workstream, ensuring the team is aligned to business outcomes, customer value, delivery commitments, and product quality rather than only task completion.

- Drive outcome-based engagements : Define expected experience outcomes, success measures, acceptance criteria, and design deliverables; track progress and ensure the UI/UX team delivers measurable value within agreed engagement goals.

- Build and manage the experience backlog : Prioritize UX initiatives, design epics, user stories, research activities, usability improvements, and design debt in collaboration with product and engineering leaders.

- Demonstrate strong product expertise : Develop deep understanding of the product, target users, business workflows, domain constraints, and competitive landscape so design decisions are grounded in product context and customer value.

- Create high-quality design artifacts : Produce user journeys, personas where relevant, wireframes, information architecture, mockups, clickable prototypes, interaction specifications, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.

- Establish design systems and consistency : Define and evolve reusable design patterns, component guidelines, visual standards, and interaction principles to ensure consistency across products and platforms.

- Validate with users and stakeholders : Plan and conduct usability testing, design reviews, stakeholder walkthroughs, and feedback sessions; convert findings into prioritized improvements and measurable experience enhancements.

- Partner closely with engineering : Provide clear design specifications, states, behaviors, edge cases, accessibility requirements, and responsive behavior; support implementation reviews to ensure design intent is preserved.

- Champion accessibility and responsive design : Ensure experiences are usable across devices and aligned with accessibility standards such as WCAG and established user-centered design principles.

- Communicate design rationale and influence decisions : Present research findings, experience strategy, design trade-offs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders with clear linkage to user needs, market evidence, and business outcomes.

- Continuously improve the product experience : Use customer feedback, usage insights, research findings, and stakeholder inputs to identify friction points and drive iterative improvements across the product lifecycle.

Required Skills :

- Strong Experience Design expertise with a proven ability to lead complex digital product experiences from discovery through delivery.

- Strong market and competitive research skills, including the ability to benchmark competing products, identify experience gaps, and convert insights into product and UI/UX recommendations.

- Product Owner / product management capabilities with experience defining priorities, acceptance criteria, design backlogs, outcomes, and stakeholder expectations.

- Ability to translate business, marketing, customer, and domain inputs into clear user-interface specifications, workflows, interaction requirements, and design deliverables.

- Hands-on expertise with UI/UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.

- Experience creating user journeys, user flows, wireframes, information architecture, mockups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

- Strong understanding of user-centered design, design thinking, usability principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards such as WCAG.

- Experience establishing or evolving design systems, reusable patterns, and component guidelines.

- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to use research, customer feedback, and product context to make evidence-based design decisions.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

- Strong ownership, planning, and execution skills in fast-paced, outcome-oriented product environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience leading UI/UX workstreams in outcome-based or milestone-based client engagements.

- Experience working on enterprise or B2B digital products with complex workflows and multiple stakeholder groups.

- Experience partnering with product marketing, sales, customer success, or domain teams to shape product experience requirements.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with distributed product and engineering teams.

- Exposure to AI-enabled or data-rich products and the ability to design intuitive experiences for complex capabilities.

- Experience working with global clients and presenting design strategy, research findings, and product recommendations.

Behavioral Competencies :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

- Customer empathy and user-first decision making.

- Effective communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.

- Ownership and accountability in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders.

- Adaptability to changing business and product needs.

Why Join Veltris :

- Opportunity to work with global clients and emerging technologies.

- Learning-driven culture with access to continuous upskilling.

- Collaborative, inclusive, and innovative environment.

- Competitive compensation and benefits.
