Job Description :
Job Title : Sr GCP Network Engineer
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, network security, and automation, and will play a key role in building scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise network solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Cloud Network Architecture & Design :
- Design and implement GCP VPC architectures, Shared VPC, subnetting, and IP address management
- Architect hybrid connectivity using Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect (Dedicated & Partner), and
HA VPN
- Design and manage multi-region and multi-zone network topologies.
- Implement Private Service Connect, VPC Peering, and Network Connectivity Centre
Network Security & Compliance :
- Implement and manage GCP Firewall rules, hierarchical firewall policies, and security best
practices.
- Configure Cloud Armor, Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP), and DDoS protection
- Support zero-trust networking models
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory standards
Load Balancing & Traffic Management :
- Configure and manage GCP Load Balancers (L4/L7, Internal/External)
- Optimize traffic routing using Cloud DNS, Traffic Director, and CDN
- Implement failover and high-availability design
Operations & Optimization :
- Monitor network performance using Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and Network Intelligence Centre
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity, latency, and routing issues
- Optimize network cost and performance
Automation & Infrastructure as Code :
- Develop and maintain network infrastructure using Terraform / Deployment Manager
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and compliance checks
- Integrate networking workflows into CI/CD pipelines
Collaboration & Governance :
- Work with security, cloud, and application teams to design secure architectures
- Participate in cloud governance, standards, and design reviews
- Provide L3 support and guidance to operations teams
