Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced EDI Consultant with 8 - 13 years of overall experience, preferably with strong expertise in the Benefits domain, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), file transfer management, and system integration.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting EDI processes using IBM integration tools and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

The candidate should have a strong understanding of data integration workflows, file processing, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable and secure data exchange between internal and external systems.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Learn, develop, enhance, and support EDI processes and workflows using IBM integration tools, including IBM System Integration tools.

- Design, develop, and implement new EDI processes using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

- Maintain and optimize existing EDI integrations, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performance.

- Manage and support file transfers between internal systems, external partners, vendors, and third-party applications.

- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot EDI transactions, data exchange processes, and integration workflows.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to understand integration requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Analyze and resolve production issues related to EDI processing, file transfers, mapping, and system integrations.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and validation of EDI workflows and data transformations.

- Ensure adherence to data security, compliance, and operational standards, particularly for Benefits - related data.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, process specifications, mapping documents, and support procedures.

- Participate in production deployments, incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 8 - 13 years of overall IT experience, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in the Benefits domain and related integration processes.

- Hands - on experience with EDI processes, file transfer management, and system integration solutions.

- Experience working with IBM integration tools, particularly IBM Sterling or other relevant IBM integration platforms.

- Hands - on experience developing and supporting integration workflows using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

- Strong understanding of EDI transaction processing, data mapping, transformations, and file formats.

- Experience with secure file transfer protocols and mechanisms, such as SFTP, FTPS, and AS2.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem - solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross - functional teams.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
