Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer / Platform Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team in Ahmedabad on a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership, a deep understanding of modern software architecture, and a willingness to take solutions from concept to production. You will be part of a collaborative, agile team that values clean code, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

- Take full ownership of your work from design and development to deployment and support

- Build robust Java applications using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Hibernate

- Design and implement scalable, maintainable microservices architectures

- Apply design patterns and best practices in system design

- Develop and consume APIs using REST and Feign clients

- Write clean, testable code using the TDD (Test-Driven Development) approach

- Deploy, operate, and monitor applications in Kubernetes-based environments

- Collaborate in agile development teams (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)

- Continuously build domain knowledge to contribute as a subject matter expert

- Communicate effectively with global team members

Required Skills & Experience :

- 1+ year of professional experience in Java development

- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST APIs

- Proven ability to design scalable microservices

- Proficient in implementing design patterns and writing clean, maintainable code

- Solid understanding of TDD and related testing frameworks

- Experience with Kubernetes for deploying and managing applications

- Prior work in agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe

- Strong communication skills and fluency in English

- Background in Platform Engineering or relevant hands-on DevOps experience

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana

- Knowledge of Kafka and messaging protocols like MQTT

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools

- Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native deployments

- Understanding of application security : firewalls, threat modeling, and dependency management
