About Us :

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist with over 4 years of experience to join our dynamic data science team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python programming, a solid understanding of machine learning concepts, and expertise in statistical analysis. You will leverage your knowledge of linear regression, decision trees, and random forests to drive data-driven decision-making and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance our products and services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support data-driven strategies.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business problems and design experiments

to solve them.

- Utilize Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and model development.

- Validate model assumptions, with a focus on linear regression and ensure the reliability of

results.

- Build and optimize decision tree models and random forest models, including out-of-bag

(OOB) scoring and treatment of unsampled records.

- Communicate findings to stakeholders through data visualization and storytelling to influence business decisions.

- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data science and machine learning.

Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in data science, data analysis, or a related field.

- Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy).

- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.

- Experience in demand/Time series forecasting

- Experience with linear regression, including assumptions and diagnostics.

- Demonstrated ability to build and interpret decision trees and random forests, with

knowledge of OOB scoring and handling of unsampled records.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
