Functional Solution Architect - Workday

Experience: 16+ years overall, with broad hands-on experience across multiple Workday HCM-suite modules (not just one).

Certification: Current Workday certification in HCM is mandatory; certifications in two or more of Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Talent, Payroll, or Benefits are a strong plus.

Must-have skills:

- Demonstrated ownership of functional architecture across multiple modules on at least two full-cycle Workday deployments (not just configuration of one module).

- Ability to design a consistent business process framework and security model across HCM, Compensation, Absence, Talent (or whichever combination is in scope) rather than module-by-module.

- Strong workshop facilitation skills at client HR/business-leadership level.

- Experience reviewing and validating configuration decisions made by functional consultants for cross-module consistency.

Key responsibilities :

- Own the end-to-end functional architecture and design for assigned engagements.

- Facilitate executive-level workshops to shape the target-state functional design.

- Set functional design standards and reusable patterns for the Bangalore functional team.

- Review and validate configuration built by Functional Consultants for consistency across modules.

- Partner with the Technical Solution Architect to ensure functional design is technically feasible.

- Support pre-sales solutioning on functional scope and effort estimation
