Univest - Artificial Intelligence Engineer - Python/LLM

Role Overview :

Univest is looking for a highly driven AI Engineer to lead AI enablement across teams and functions. This role focuses on identifying high-impact opportunities to apply AI across product, operations, marketing, sales, and internal workflows.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered solutions that automate workflows, improve decision-making, and unlock productivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive AI enablement initiatives across departments including product, growth, operations, sales, and support.

- Identify high-impact opportunities where AI can automate processes or improve efficiency.

- Design and implement AI-powered tools, workflows, and internal automation systems.

- Build and integrate solutions using LLMs, AI APIs, and machine learning models.

- Develop prototypes and production-ready systems that solve real business problems.

- Work with engineering and data teams to ensure scalable AI integrations.

- Stay updated on advancements in AI, LLMs, and applied machine learning to continuously improve capabilities.

What Were Looking For :

- 2 to 4 years of experience in AI / Machine Learning / Applied AI roles.

- Strong programming skills in Python.

- Experience working with LLMs, AI APIs, or modern ML frameworks.

- Ability to build practical AI solutions and automation workflows.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

- Comfortable working across teams and translating business problems into AI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Background from Tier-1 institutes (IIT / NIT / IIIT / BITS) preferred.

- Experience with LLM frameworks, prompt engineering, and AI integrations.

- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.

- Experience building internal tools, automation systems, or AI-powered products.
