Role Overview :
Ultraviolette Automotive is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead program execution for charging infrastructure initiatives. This includes EV charging hardware development, ecosystem partnerships, interoperability validation, and deployment programs. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical understanding in power electronics and EV charging protocols, combined with strong program management expertise to deliver complex infrastructure programs on time.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and manage end-to-end program plans for charging infrastructure development including home charger units, fast chargers, and charging ecosystem integrations.
- Coordinate with hardware, firmware, power electronics, and UI/UX teams to ensure seamless delivery of charging system features.
- Manage supplier and partner engagements for charging hardware components, ensuring milestone adherence and quality compliance.
- Drive interoperability testing programs across charging standards (CCS, CHAdeMO, BIS standards) and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Track DVT/PVT activities for charging hardware and manage field trial programs in coordination with the product and customer teams.
- Identify program risks related to component availability, certification timelines, and infrastructure rollout schedules; drive mitigations.
- Serve as the primary cross-functional liaison between charging infrastructure engineering and commercial, operations, and service teams.
- Prepare detailed program trackers, status dashboards, and executive presentations on charging program health.
- Support ecosystem partner programs (CPOs, fleet partners) by coordinating technical integration timelines and compatibility testing.
Qualifications & Experience :
- 6+ years of experience in program/project management, ideally in EV charging, power systems, or automotive electronics.
- Technical understanding of EV charging architecture AC/DC charging, charging protocols (IEC 61851, ISO 15118, OCPP), and power conversion systems.
- Experience managing programs involving hardware development, regulatory certification, and field deployment.
- Familiarity with Indian EV charging standards (BIS/AIS norms) and a working knowledge of global charging standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder ecosystems including internal teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Proficiency in program management tools and strong analytical capabilities.
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline required.
