Ultraviolette Automotive - Android AOSP Engineer

Description :

We are looking for engineers who work beyond mobile apps professionals experienced in Android system internals, AOSP customization, and embedded Linux.

What You Will Work On :

- Development and customization of Android OS running on vehicle dashboard/cluster

- AOSP build, customization and system configuration

- Android Framework and system services development

- Hardware integration with display, sensors, communication modules and vehicle controllers

- Performance optimization, boot time improvement and debugging system issues

- Working closely with embedded, electronics and cloud teams to enable connected vehicle features

Required Skills :

- 4- 8 years experience in Embedded Android / Android Platform development

- Hands-on experience with AOSP (Android Open Source Project)

- Strong understanding of Android Framework, HAL, Binder, system services

- Experience building Android from source and device bring-up

- Strong Linux fundamentals (processes, memory, drivers, debugging)

- Experience with system debugging tools (ADB, Logcat, kernel logs)

- Experience with Git and version control

Good to Have :

- Automotive infotainment / cluster development experience

- Experience working with Qualcomm / NXP / embedded chipsets

- Bluetooth, CAN, GPS or hardware communication integration

- Knowledge of C/C++ along with Java/Kotlin

Education :

B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems or related field
