Role Overview :
As a UKG / Kronos Workforce Management (WFM) Consultant, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through the full lifecycle of WFM solution implementation, from initial discovery and design to configuration, testing, and go-live.
This role involves close collaboration with client stakeholders, understanding their unique business processes, and translating those requirements into effective UKG/Kronos solutions.
You will serve as a subject matter expert, providing strategic advice, technical guidance, and hands-on configuration to ensure successful project delivery and optimal utilization of the WFM platform, ultimately impacting organizational efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and facilitate client workshops to gather detailed business requirements for Time & Attendance, Absence Management, Scheduling, and other WFM modules.
- Design and architect comprehensive UKG/Kronos solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and best practices.
- Configure and test UKG/Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) and UKG Dimensions applications, including pay rules, accruals, schedules, and security profiles.
- Develop functional and technical specifications for integrations between UKG/Kronos and other HRMS, payroll, or ERP systems.
- Provide expert guidance on WFM processes, regulatory compliance, and system capabilities to optimize client operations.
- Support project management activities, including scope definition, timeline estimation, and risk mitigation.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide comprehensive training to end-users and administrators.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, offering post-implementation support and system enhancements.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical developers, project managers, and other consultants, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Clovio's WFM consulting methodologies and service offerings.
Required Skillset :
- Proven track record in implementing and configuring UKG (formerly Kronos) Workforce Management solutions, including Kronos WFC and UKG Dimensions.
- Expert-level proficiency in core WFM modules such as Time & Attendance, Absence Management, and Advanced Scheduling.
- Strong understanding of HRMS processes, payroll integration, and labor law compliance related to workforce management.
- Demonstrated ability in solution design, technical implementation, and data migration strategies within the UKG/Kronos ecosystem.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating complex business requirements into practical system configurations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing project phases, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-centric environment, both independently and as part of a distributed team.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or Human Resources is highly preferred.
