About the Role :
We are seeking an exceptional UI/UX Design Lead to spearhead the digital transformation of our core customer-facing platforms, including Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, and Omnichannel customer touchpoints.
In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for defining the digital design vision, building an enterprise-wide design system, and setting up an autonomous in-house UI/UX team to transition capabilities from external agencies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Team Setup & Capability Building : Recruit, mentor, and lead an internal team of UI/UX designers and researchers to establish an in-house Center of Excellence.
- Design System Governance : Build, scale, and govern an enterprise-wide Design System and reusable component libraries to ensure visual and functional consistency across web and mobile platforms.
- End-to-End Customer Journeys : Own and optimize B2C journeys (onboarding, payments, transfers, self-service) to boost digital adoption, engagement, and conversion rates.
- UX Strategy & Research : Define user research methodologies, conduct usability testing, and drive data-backed design decisions aligned with accessibility standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders to translate strategic goals into seamless digital products.
Key Requirements :
- Overall Experience : 8 - 10 years in UI/UX or Product Design, with 2+ years managing design teams and delivery.
- Domain Mandate : Proven track record in Retail Banking, Fintech, or large-scale B2C customer-facing platforms (specifically Mobile Banking apps and Web portals).
- Agency Backgrounds : Agency experience is acceptable only if you owned substantial, end-to-end customer-facing digital products.
- Technical Proficiency : Expert proficiency in Figma (Mandatory), prototyping, journey mapping, and collaborative tools (Miro, FigJam, Zeplin).
- Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in UI/UX, Interaction Design, HCI, Product Design, or related disciplines.
