Position Overview :
We are looking for a UI/UX Architect (UX-First) to own and evolve the user experience for complex security products and platforms. This role is suited for a UX-focused product designer who has worked on enterprise or data-intensive applications and is motivated to solve complex usability challenges in the cybersecurity domain. The candidate should have a strong ability to simplify complex systems, workflows, and data into intuitive user experiences, while working closely with UI development teams to ensure correct and consistent implementation.
Key Responsibilities :
UX Ownership & Experience Strategy :
- Own the end-to-end UX vision across security products and modules.
- Define UX principles, usability standards, interaction patterns, and experience guidelines for security workflows.
- Drive user-centered design for alert-heavy, data-rich, and role-based experiences.
- Identify UX gaps and usability risks in existing products and define improvement roadmaps.
User Experience Design & Validation :
a. Collaborate with Product Managers and security domain experts to understand :
- User personas (Analyst, Admin, Manager, CISO, etc.)
- Operational workflows and decision-making processes
- Design user journeys, task flows, information architecture, and interaction models for security use cases.
- Conduct usability testing to ensure clarity, efficiency, and reduced cognitive load.
- Create wireframes, UX flows, and interactive prototypes for validation.
- Define UX acceptance criteria focused on speed, accuracy, and decision confidence.
UI Architecture & Design System :
- Define and evolve a scalable design system for security applications.
- Ensure consistency across dashboards, tables, charts, filters, alerts, and drill-down views.
- Translate UX designs into clear UI specifications for implementation.
- Review UI implementations to ensure alignment with UX intent, accessibility, and usability.
- Guide UI developers on interaction behaviors, visual hierarchy, and state management.
Collaboration with UI Development Teams :
- Work closely with UI developers to bridge UX design and UI implementation.
- Provide UX guidance during development sprints and design reviews.
- Review UI outputs from a UX correctness and usability perspective.
- Help UI teams balance usability, performance, and information density.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Partner with Engineering, Architecture, QA, and Product teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and release validations.
- Ensure UX considerations are embedded early in solution and requirement design.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Experience in UI/UX design for enterprise or product applications.
Strong expertise in :
- Interaction design and information architecture
- Workflow and journey design for complex systems
- Usability testing and UX validation
- Experience working on data-heavy, role-based, or operational products.
- Hands-on experience with UX design tools
- Strong understanding of UI frameworks React and component-based design.
- Experience defining and maintaining design systems.
- Ability to work effectively without a dedicated UX team, influencing UI developers and engineers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory) :
- Exposure to cybersecurity, IT operations, analytics, or monitoring platforms.
- Experience designing alerting, investigation, or dashboard-driven interfaces.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
