Job Overview :

We are seeking a Junior Promax Developer & Virtualization Engineer to join our growing team in Chennai.

This is a full-time role focused on deploying, managing, and optimizing virtualization solutions while contributing to the digital transformation journey of Twixors enterprise clients.

Qualifications And Skills :

- Proficiency in Promox, VMware, and general virtualization concepts, including setup, management, and optimization of virtual environments (Mandatory skill).

- Ability to work with Promox clusters, manage resources, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues related to virtualization (Mandatory skill).

- Experience implementing and maintaining VMware ESXi infrastructure, including VM provisioning and resource management (Mandatory skill).

- Strong background in network troubleshooting, analyzing packet flows, and resolving connectivity and latency issues within virtual environments.

- Demonstrated Linux administration skills with hands-on experience in managing system configurations, updates, and security protocols across multiple distributions.

- Familiarity with infrastructure as code practices and automation tools for deploying and scaling virtualized resources effectively.

- Understanding of monitoring tools to track server health, detect anomalies, and generate relevant reports to maintain system uptime and performance.

- Knowledge of Docker containerization, allowing the deployment and management of lightweight, reproducible application environments on virtualized infrastructure.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies in virtualization, DevOps, and process automation in a fast-paced consulting environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting operational processes thoroughly.

Roles And Responsibilities:

- Deploy, configure, and maintain Promox VE clusters and VMware virtualization infrastructure to support enterprise customer engagements.

- Monitor virtualized environments to ensure optimal performance, server health, and reliability for critical business applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, network connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks within virtualization platforms.

- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to provision VMs, containers, and other resources using infrastructure as code principles.

- Conduct regular audits of system security, configuration, and compliance across Linux-based servers and virtualized environments.

- Utilize monitoring tools to generate reports, detect operational issues proactively, and recommend improvements for greater efficiency and resilience.

- Document processes, infrastructure changes, and standard operating procedures to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing within the team.

- Support application deployment using Docker containers and integrate them seamlessly within virtualized and hybrid cloud environments.

- Stay updated with industry best practices in virtualization, network security, and automation to support Twixors digital transformation initiatives.

Work Location : Chennai (Work from office).
