Job Description :
We are looking for a UX Researcher based in Delhi NCR to help True Balance generate context-rich insights from Indian users and translate them into decision-ready recommendations and product priorities.
This role will focus on understanding user behavior across trust, adoption barriers, financial comprehension, language realities, and fintech product journeys. The researcher will run end-to-end UX research, including in-depth interviews, moderated usability testing, concept tests, and contextual inquiries.
The researcher will work closely with Product, Design, Data, CS, Risk, and Operations teams to refine problem framing, support product decisions, and help drive adoption through actionable user insights.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Run mixed-method UX research end-to-end, including in-depth interviews, moderated usability testing, concept tests, and contextual inquiries.
- Cover core fintech topics such as loan journey comprehension, offer evaluation behavior, PF perception, approval probability heuristics, partner brand trust, repayment preferences, and adoption barriers.
- Own research operations, including participant sourcing and user list extraction, segment definitions, screening, recruiting, scheduling, incentives, consent flows, and no-show mitigation.
- Conduct research with users across different financial literacy, language, and digital familiarity levels.
- Synthesize research findings into key themes, decision narratives, evidence packs, 1-pagers, and workshops, and collaborate with PM, PO, and Design stakeholders to define clear action recommendations, owners, and priorities.
- Partner with PM, PO, Design, Data, CS, Risk, and Operations teams to clarify product problems and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Build repeatable research systems, including templates, research repositories, insight libraries, and reusable question banks
Required Experience :
- 3+ years of hands-on UX research, user research, product research, or design research experience.
- Experience owning usability testing and in-depth interviews end-to-end.
- Experience conducting research with Indian users or users in emerging markets.
- Strong English communication and reporting skills.
- Strong research operations execution, including recruiting, scheduling, incentives, consent, and no-show mitigation.
- Ability to work with low financial literacy audiences and evaluate user comprehension accurately.
- Ability to synthesize findings into clear insights and collaborate with product and design stakeholders to translate them into practical recommendations and action items.
